Every time when I want to prepare some dessert (to bake a great cake) I imagine that I don’t have an inspiration to do it because of time I need to pass for baking and a lot of ingredients, that I actually must buy and prepare. Except it cake is not the best way to eat something sweet at hot summer day. I prefer to do some light dessert (no bake) like this one. Especially I like some dessert with juicy fruits and berries. This dessert includes a lot of strawberries! What can be better at summer?
Recently I recognized that I have a new hobby – to collect old recipes. Actually, I don’t collect them, but I’m interested in it and I like to cook some dishes from past and know that it has a history.
This recipe is very old. I read that this dessert was prepared in the Middle Ages. I’m not sure, that this recipe was the same as the recipe I found, but I think that the key ingredients is still like in original. Why the recipe is still popular and didn’t lose into the ages? Because of its simplicity and delicious taste. You need only 10 minutes for preparing very nice dessert. The rest of the time you can pass watching TV or do something you need in home. During this time, your dessert is ‘sunbathing’ into the oven😊.
Hi, my dears! We all love holidays, especially winter holidays. This is the greatest time of the year, because you can believe in miracle. Everything is fairy, shops are illuminated and decorated with Christmas trees. It looks amazing! As for me, I like Christmas time because of the opportunity to be together with my family and set around the table, eating festive dishes and joying.
But holidays have another side of coin. Delicious food and passive way of passing time is very bad for my figure. I can’t say that I have a pretty good body, because I like baking and I always prepare some dessert for my daughters and husband (and for me too), but before holidays I always look for some light desserts.
Yesterday I woke up and looked out of the mirror and understood I needed to be on a diet. I must about my health and health of my family at least. I recognize I can’t limit my children in food, because their organism grows and develops. They run all the time or pass time studying. These processes need a lot of efforts from them, so they need a lot of calories. As a mum I try to prepare useful dessert with fruits and berries, for breakfast I feed them on nutritional food included meat, vegetables and fruits.
Have you ever tried something softer than Italian Pastry Cream? I think, no. I consider it the best addition to each dessert. You can combine this cream with fresh fruits and berries. You can use this cream like filling inside cake or rolls or decorate desserts on the top…and, of course, you can use this cream like special dessert alone…for example like mousse…
I think this is very important to feel happy in our life and to know how to found positive in everyday matters. I really try, but sometimes I understand that this is impossible. My usual day starts with a smile and I really want to continue it with the same smile. And today I have done it! I have seen my happiness in the smallest details. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not always angry and severe (ok, just a little sometimes). I mean we forget to enjoy every moment, but this moment will never happen again.
I know a lot of people who decide to buy different presents for someone special instead of make something by themselves. Sure, that’s easy and unique decision to make a gift when you are busy. But, if you have a little free time you have to try preparing those perfect candies. I write about my favorite chocolate desserts so often, that’s why I think you know my chocolate addiction. Holidays are time for having a rest. My husband was at home during previous days, my daughters forgot about lessons for some time. It’s amazing time for my family! I know a lot of family and each of them has special way to pass this time. Actually for me holidays is great chance to be out of home. Every day I have my duties and I’m at home all the time. Now I can walk through the street with my lovely family, visit my friends, relatives and invite good people to our house.
Maybe sometimes you don’t know what sweet and delicious you can prepare for your lovely kids? They are always pernickety and have not bad sweet tooth. So I think it’s a usual situation for each mom.
