Crock Pot Apple Pudding Cake

Do you feel this inspired desire for something new? I can’t explain why this desire came and why it is so strong for me. So, today I’ve woken up and felt this amazing desire to change everything in my life. I looked at the walls into my room and wanted to see them more brightly…

I recalled summer days when I woke up from the sun raising. But now the sun is not so strong and I wanted to paint the walls inside my house into sunny colors and make them colorful and bright. So, laying in the bed I planned to repair my house. Inspired by this idea I strove to the kitchen to make breakfast. I decided not to stop at the idea of repairing my house and tried to look for something new. I looked at the different food blogs to find something special recipe. And…after long searching I find this recipe of my ideal breakfast.

What can be better for your health and mood than the addition of apples, honey, orange juice, and cinnamon? I thought nothing. And I didn’t change my mind. This is a very yummy and soft dessert for breakfast, dinner and as an addition for lunch.

For making this cake you need these ingredients:

  1. 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  2. 2/3 cup of sugar
  3. 1 tbs of baking powder
  4. pinch of salt
  5. 1/2 cup of butter
  6. 1 cup of milk
  7. 4 apples, piled and diced
  8. 1 + 1/2 cups of orange juice
  9. 1/2 cups of orange juice
  10. 1/2 cups of honey or sugar
  11. 2 tbs of melted butter
  12. 1 tbs of cinnamon

To prepare this dessert you should mix the flour with sugar and baking powder, add a pinch of salt at the end. After that, you should take a knife and cut the butter into the mixture and do it until coarse crumbs. The next step of preparation is pouring the cup of milk into this mixture and stir it. Put this mixture into the crockpot.

Then prepare the pan for baking apples. Pour melted butter to the bottom of the crockpot and spread. Dice apples and chop them, then spread on the bottom of crockpot.  After that let’s start to prepare the filling for our dessert – take a bowl and whisk inside orange juice, honey, cinnamon and the rest of the butter and sugar. Pour this mixture over the apples into the crockpot. Bake it for 2-3 hours at a low temperature until apples become soft. Take the crockpot and serve warm. Have a nice meal!
