French Coconut Pie

I like coconut because of its amazing smell. That’s why I found this recipe interesting and wanted to share it with you. No matter where you are and what do you like – I’m sure, you will like this cake. I can underline at least three main advantages of this amazing dessert.


On the one hand, it is really yummy dessert and would be liked as adults and children as well. One the other hand it is very simple for preparing. No need to do any additional efforts to make this cake – just your desire and have the ingredients in your fridge.

The last argument for preparation this cake – it is the simplicity of that cake – just a couple of minutes and you have this nice coconut cake on your table. As an admirer of coconut, I can say that this cake is amazing because of the existing coconut ingredients inside of this cake. I sometimes add it to my no-bake desserts like a garnish and this looks perfect, but, in this case, coconut is the main ingredient.


It gives an important feature of this meal. I was surprised when I got to know how easy is this pie to prepare. All the ingredients must be mixed together. Then pour the prepared mixture into the pie shell and bake for about 1 hour. Except for easy preparation, this cake has a very appetite appearance. When I saw the photo of this cake I wanted to prepare it immediately. I don’t know why but this cake woke inside me very strong desire and interesting. It looks like a home traditional pie and reminds me of the heat of home. This cake really has a magic atmosphere because it is liked by everyone in our family.

The recipe for this dessert is pretty simple.

  1. Three big eggs,
  2. 1 cup of sugar,
  3.  1 pack of butter, (melted before)
  4. 1 tbs of white vinegar
  5. 1 cup of flaked coconut
  6. 1 tbs of vanilla (or another aroma)
  7. 1 pinch of salt
  8. 1 whole 9″ Uncooked Pie Shell

All these ingredients should be mixed, and after pouring into baking pie baked in the oven at 350F for approximately 1 hour.

      French Coconut Pie, I use to eat them when I was a child. Bought them from a local neighborhood bakery. Now this pie taste as good as the old fashion coconut pie. Creamy and oh so good. I made it for thanksgiving gave 2 slices away and hid the rest of the pie. Easy to make and taste so good.
