I was happy when I tried a piece of this Italian Lemon Pound Cake firs time. I felt very soft and moist cake with awesome lemon flavour. To make it we used fresh lemon juice and zest of two lemons. We got a beautiful cake for any holiday or just for a weekend. I assure that a piece of this cake will make your day better.


Commenting this post, one girl asked me to write a list of ingredients needed for this recipe. Editing this post, I want to correct my mistakes. I want to show you how your opinion is important for me. That’s because I add to this recipe some corrections. So, the list of ingredients you need :

All-purpose  flour, baking powder, salt, butter, sugar, eggs, buttermilk, sour cream, lemon juice, ginger, minced, zest of 2 lemons, vanilla.

Actually, you don’t need to buy something extra for this recipe at the shops. All ingredients are available and a lot of them you can find in the fridge, the rest of them try to find at another place of your kitchen:)
