Pumpkin Pecan Cobbler

Fall mood is like a disease. You can’t think positive, all you need is warm and hot tea. I know I’m not a person who likes to pass the time around other people, dance and scream. I like to be at home or something else in a cozy and calm place like the forest, mountains and the shore of some wild river. It is not because I’m not a teen and I am a family person. All my life I liked to concentrate the power inside me as opposed to disperse it outside. So, during this strange period of fall weather, I discovered a universal source of energy and keeping a good mood. If you can understand I meant “cooking”.

Yesterday I decided to cook an amazing cobbler with one of the brightest orange pumpkins and, of course, to share this recipe with you. I must say I fell in love with this kind of dessert. Cobbler looks so great and when I look at this one I want to try it right now. As a mum, I always try to prepare really pretty desserts, because my daughters are selective. But this cobbler like a lot of another cobbler they like and ask for additional. I’m happy.

So, about preparing. This dessert will steal 1 hour of your time. You need 10 minutes for preparing and the rest for baking and decoration. Ingredients you have to buy or to find at the fridge are all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, pumpkin puree, milk, melted butter or vegetable oil, vanilla. For the topping: granulated sugar, brown sugar, chopped pecans, and very hot water.

I suggest you watch if your cobbler is ready because I dropped the baking form off into the oven and I wasn’t so attentive. As a result, my dessert didn’t have this special soft and light taste. But it was still so yummy.

So, if you want to bake this dessert, you can read the full recipe here.
